Last but not least is the beautiful and stylish American Quarter Horse Buckskin filly, sired by the beautiful Haverty Ranch stallion Whowhizit. This filly is owned by Mike McCarty of Zanesville, Ohio Hope to see you all in the Winners Circle.
Yearlings are in and ready for your inspection. We tend to think of this time of year as “Boot Camp”. Yearlings at Autumn Lane are “field raised” in groups according to foaling date and sex. Every group consists of 4-6 yearlings that have a private field and are shed raised. We do not believe that a performance horse is best raised in a “hothouse” environment. Kept on a routine deworming, vaccination and farrier schedule each group thrives. At sale time, each sale horse is brought in daily, groomed and handled. Manners are polished as well as the hair coat. Sale time always bring mixed feelings for our family. It often seems that we are sending our youngsters off to college. We take pride in our old fashioned ways when it comes to raising performance horses.
